Our Top 6 - Week 14

This years Rivalry Week cost a lot of teams a possible spot in the playoff, debilitating injuries to key players, and coaches their jobs, one thing was constant: Rivalry Week was as crazy as ever. We did a live blog for many of the games this weekend, and we’ll probably do something similar for the conference championship games. Which games were your favorites? My personal favorites were Western Kentucky and Marshall, neither of which can spell defense, Alabama and Auburn, because well it’s the Iron Bowl, Georgia Tech and Georgia, because Georgia should never lose to Tech and somehow they’ve found a way to do it ending their five game winning stream.

By the way, the SEC was 0-4 against the ACC this weekend. All four losses came to teams in the SEC East, proving the SEC isn’t the best conference.

Yes, I’m ignoring Florida and Florida State, because as I’ve stated many times…I don’t watch their games. I haven’t seen a single play live since they played Louisville on October 30th. The outcome of their games is always the same.

So, with the upsets of No. 4 Mississippi State, No. 8 UCLA (Pac-12 Suicide), No. 9 Georgia, and No. 24 Marshall the Top 25 will certainly change on Tuesday. But, who cares about anyone outside of the Top 6? We don’t, and here’s our poll.

Participating this week along with me are Seth Merenbloom (@smerenbloom), Mike Wilson (@pigskinopinion), Hollis Oliver McLain (@HollisOliverIII), and Bird LeCroy (@Autull).
